Rudolf Khachatryan

1937 – Born in Yerevan.

1951 – Studied at the School of Fine Arts for a few months.

From 1955 – Participant in republican and international exhibitions.

1957 – Bronze medal, Yerevan.

1959 – Bronze medal, Yerevan.

From 1960 – Member of the USSR and later Armenian Union of Artists.

1965 – Silver medal, Yerevan.

1977 – Honored Artist of Armenia.

From 1984 – People’s Artist of Armenia.

1986 – Gold medal, Tbilisi.

1997 – Awarded the “Friendship of Peoples” medal by Boris Yeltsin on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

1999-2001 – Participated in the creation of the Union of Armenians of Russia.

2002 – Elected as a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

2007 – Died in Germany.
