Mireille Gogikian is a Lebanese artist who graduated from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) in 1988. Her meteoric career was established early on, earning numerous prestigious awards and distinctions. Benefiting from a scholarship in Italy and subsequent further training, followed by five active years in Paris and stable employment coupled with exceptional creative zeal, Mireille Gogikian has become a renowned artist marked by her brushstrokes.
She has participated in 50 international exhibitions in cities such as Tokyo, London, Paris, Italy, Seoul, Geneva, Syria, and Qatar, and has held 16 solo exhibitions. Notable among these are “Beyond the Dream” (2015, 2017), “Chronological Whispers” (2019), “Fragments of Beirut”, and “The Soul’s Journey” (2022), among others. Her works are included in various collections, both private and public, and are displayed in numerous cultural foundations and museums.
Alongside her artistic career, Mireille Gogikian has always aspired to share her talent through educational endeavors. For the Florence XIII Biennale, Mireille Gogikian was selected as a participating artist to exhibit seven paintings from the “Fragments of Beirut” series, for which she received the Jury’s Selective Award. In 2021, she won the Caravaggio Award in Milan, and in November 2022, she was honored with the Barcelona International Award.
