The Contemporary Art Museum invites you to attend the opening of the solo exhibition by musician and artist Haik Grigoryan on October 21, 2023, at 3:00 PM. The event will take place in the museum’s temporary exhibition hall.
The exhibition will feature works from the artist’s series “Faces/Sides,” “Green Thoughts,” and “The Language of the Body,” showcasing his genre transitions and transformations.
The exhibition will be open until October 27, 2023.
Haik Grigoryan: Musician, Artist
Born in Yerevan in 1983, he graduated from Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory in 2004. He worked with the State Radio and Television Orchestra of Armenia from 1999 to 2011, and from 2011 to 2020, he lived and worked in Moscow with Igor Butman’s jazz band. He has also performed in Moscow’s Esse, Kozlov, and Butman clubs, as well as New York’s Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club, and Coca-Cola clubs.
Since 2020, he has also been active as a visual artist. His works have been exhibited in Moscow, Yerevan (Artists’ Union), and Kapan, at the Contemporary Art Museum’s “Transformation” exhibition.
