TRACES
Patrizia Pozzi Lipo
Curated by: Isabella Indolfi
Organized by: The Italian Embassy in Armenia
From January 20th, the Contemporary Art Museum of Yerevan will host an exhibition by Patrizia Pozzi Lipo. Traces is a collection of photographs documenting the artist’s travels between the West and the East, from the North to the South, bridging Italy and Armenia. It reflects the exploration of living cultural relationships and differences between two peoples who have been in dialogue for centuries. These relationships are woven through cultural, artistic, scientific, and commercial ties.
Traces is part of the “Opere Vive” (Living Works) public art project, which for the past two years has been curated by Isabella Indolfi and implemented by the Italian Embassy in Armenia. This project features several Italian artists exploring Armenia and Armenian art.
Patrizia Pozzi Lipo was selected for her ability to perceive details, her persistence in initiating long journeys, and her sensitivity in presenting personal stories.
